Xian Xianyang International Airport Shuttle Bus Lines & Timetables

Xian Xianyang International Airport is about 40km from Xian downtown. It operates about 14 shuttle bus lines to Xi’an, 2 lines to Xianyang, and nearly 20 lines to other cities in Shaanxi Province. It is convenient, much more economical than taxi, and is a good choice for independent travellers.

Xian Xianyang International Airport Shuttle Buses to Xian Downtown

There are about 14 shuttle bus lines to Xian downtown that cover the main attractions such as Bell Tower (close to Ancient City Wall and Muslim Quarter) and Shaanxi History Museum, the train stations, and passenger stations. For the destinations that are not covered, you can get to the downtown area first and then transfer to subway or city bus. All the buses to Xian City charge CNY 25 per person. You can buy the ticket and take the bus at the 1st Floor of T2 and the Ground Transportation Center (GTC) of T3.

Airport Shuttle Buses to Downtown Tourist Attractions

The airport shuttle bus will take you directly to Bell Tower and Shaanxi History Museum. If you want to go to Terracotta Warriors or Mount Huashan, you need to take airport intercity bus which we will discuss later in this page.

Xian Xianyang International Airport Shuttle Buses to Xianyang Downtown

There are two lines that will take you to Xianyang downtown and Xianyang High Speed Railway Station within an hour. All the buses to Xianyang City charge CNY 15 per person. You can buy the ticket and take the bus at the 1st Floor of T2 and the Ground Transportation Center (GTC) of T3.

Xian Xianyang International Airport Intercity Buses to Other Cities in Shaanxi

Xian Xianyang International Airport also offers shuttle buses (or intercity buses) to other cities in Shaanxi such as Baoji, Yanliang, Lintong, Hanzhong, etc. You can buy the tickets at the 1st floor of Ground Transportation Center (GTC) at T3. It is convenient for independent travellers who want to go to some faraway attractions such as Terracotta Warriors (take the Lintong Line) and Huashan Mountain (take the Huashan Line).

Xian Xianyang International Airport Intercity Buses to Terracotta Warriors

To get to the Terracotta Warriors, you can take airport intercity bus to Lintong (临潼) first and then transfer to Bus 914 and get off at Bingmayong Station (兵马俑站). The whole trip will take about 2 hours. There are 9 intercity buses from 09:30 to 19:30. So it is very convenient if your flight arrives in the daytime.>>How to get to Terracotta Warriors

Xian Xianyang International Airport Intercity Buses to Mount Huashan

There are only three intercity buses to Mount Huashan which departs at 10:30, 13:00, and 17:00. The bus will take you directly to the tourist center of Huashan Scenic Spot. If your flight doesn’t fit the schedule, you can take a taxi there (about 2h) but the cost will be much higher which is about CNY 400.>>More about Mount Huashan
