Shanghai Pudong International Airport (PVG) is praised as the 3rd major airport in China, after Beijing Capital International Airport and Hong Kong International Airport. Shanghai Pudong Airport is located at the harbor belt in Shanghai Pudong New Area and is about 30 km to Shanghai Downtown, which takes about 55 min to drive there. Shanghai Metro Line 2 (East Xujing to Pudong International Airport) has an eastern extension section from Guanglan Road to the Terminal 2 of Pudong International Airport, so you can take the light green train first to Guanglan Road and transfer in the same station to the east-west Metro Line 2 crossing the city center.
Taking this convenient Subway Line 2, you could easily get to Shanghai Tower, Shanghai World Financial Center, Oriental Pearl Tower, Jinmao Tower (Lujiazui Station), Nanjing Road (East Nanjing Road Station and West Nanjing Road), Shanghai Museum, Shanghai Urban Planning Exhibition Center (People’s Square Station), Hongqiao International Airport (Hongqiao Airport Terminal 2 Station) and Hongqiao Railway Station (the same name station), and other destinations.

How to Get to Shanghai Disney Resort by Subway?
People who want to have fun in Shanghai Disney Resort can take the Metro Line 2 to Longyang Road Station and transfer to Metro line 16 that heads for Dishui Lake, then get off at Luoshan Road and transfer to Metro Line 11 to walk out from the Exit 1 at Disney Resort Station.
The Maglev Train running between Pudong Airport and Longyang Road where you can take other fine vehicles to go your ideal destinations is a fantastic way for you to experience the modern technique of Shanghai and the cool highest speed of 430 km/h. Usually operating from 6:45 to 21:40, this maglev train can take you from Pudong Airport to the prosperous Pudong New Area for only 8 min.
