TOP 2: Jinsha Site Museum 金沙遗址博物馆

Located in west of Chengdu, Jinsha Site Museum is built on the original location of Jinsha Site that is found in 2001 and the first important archaeological discovery found in early 21 century in China. Sichuan Museum is a first-class national museum which is located next to Du Fu Thatched Cottage and Huanhuaxi Park in Chengdu. It is a large comprehensive museum with 14 exhibition halls, displaying more than 320,000 pieces of historical relics about ancient Sichuan, including calligraphy and paintings, ceramics, bronzes, ethnic cultural relics, Tibetan Buddhism relics, stone carvings, pottery of Han Dynasty, etc. The must-visit part is the exhibition of Zhang Daqian’s (Chang Dai-chien) paintings on the second floor.
