Panda Star volunteer Story

Rachel Grant is a British actress, writer and social entrepreneur. Rachel played Peaceful Fountains of Desire in the James Bond Film Die Another Day.

Rachel trusted China Discovery without any doubt and thought it was great to meet the lovely giant pandas and do some volunteering work to take care of the cuddly bears. On March 18, 2017, we customized and arranged the panda volunteer program in Dujiangyan Panda Base, about 1.5 hours’ drive from Chengdu downtown area. It was such a great honor for China Discovery. She is our true Panda Star.

Rachel thought "The time I spent witnessing such human dedication is truly eye-opening especially when a species is faced with extinction. Giant pandas certainly share a special message and serve as envoys of peace, conservation and friendship to the world."
