Xilinhot (锡林浩特市), or called Xilin Hot City, is usually the first place for those coming by flight. The airport, namely Xiinhot Airport, is only about 16 KM & 30 minutes away from Xilin Hot downtown.

Xilingol Grassland is a vast area made up of many prairie areas. The most famous areas include Wulagai Grassland, West Ujimqin Grassland, Xilingol Grassland Nature Reserve, Jinlianchuan Grassland, etc. Each of the grassland area offers yurt accommodations. However, they are all of basic. Some even in primitive, without private restroom and air condition and requires about 6 or more people to stay overnight together in the yurt.
