Wake up early to enjoy the sunrise at Yangcaoshan Hill located on the northwest corner of Snow Town. At about 1,250 meters above sea level, it's the tallest peak in the region and known as the most beautiful place in Snow Town. With its rare trees, it is the best spot to view sunrise and sunset. If you want to enjoy the sunrise view, do remember to come early, as the sun rises at 6:30 a.m. to 7:00 a.m. in winter.

Hiking up the mountain is the best way to enjoy the beautiful snow scenery and a good opportunity to escape from the busy world. Reach up the highest point of Bangchui Hill and overlook the whole town! There are several view decks in the snow town, but the "Wu Xian Feng Guang" Viewing Deck on the Bangchui Hill is the best one to have a panoramic view of the China Snow Town. How to Get to China Snow Town

Located at the Shuangfeng Forest in Hailin County of Heilongjiang Province, China Snow Town is about 280 km away from Harbin, the capital city of Heilongjiang Province. It is about 170 km from Mudanjiang City and about 100 km from Yabuli Town. Many tourists choose to get to China Snow Town from Harbin, and they will take private car, bus and train.

Having a sound sleep in the freezing cold weather is never a problem in Snow Town. There are several boutique hotels for you to stay. There is only one 5-star hotel - Xuexiang Xueyun Hot Spring Resort Hotel, and the price of it ranges from ¥ 1,000. It is near the gate towards Wuchang, and is about 1.5 km from the gate to Hailin/Yabuli. There are two 4-star hotels: Xueyun'ge Hotel (range from ¥ 800) and Zhongyang RV Hotel (range from ¥ 2,000). Xueyun'ge Hotel is in the center of China Snow Town, and the Zhongyang RV Hotel is near the Xuexiang Xueyun Hot Spring Resort Hotel.

You can also experience local family hostels where you can sleep on the Kang Bed, a brick bed heated with a fire underneath. This kind of bed is very comfortable during cold winter. Some family hostels also provide the meals. The price of family hostel ranges from ¥ 50 to ¥ 300.

The accommodation can be very tight during peak seasons like Christmas, New Year's Day and Spring Festival, so you must book in advance. Then you can book with a lower price. Otherwise, it may increase a lot during peak seasons.

After the long hike, you'll likely be hungry for local food. Nothing is better than having an authentic local meal in the Snow Town. The local cuisine is one of the highlights of your tour in China Snow Town. You could have meals at both the family hotels you stay at or not, and restaurants along the Snow Charm Avenue. 8. Generally, the consumption in China Snow Town is relatively high, so you need to ask about the prices before you buy.

9. Sometimes you also need to pay for the red lanterns on local houses you will photograph, so please ask the household about the price. The price is usually about ¥ 10.
