The unbelievable Fanjingshan in Guizhou Province and the incredible Zhangjiajie in Hunan Province are not far away, about 220 kilometers in between with about 5 hours’ transfer. Fanjingshan and Zhangjiajie both belong to Wuling mountain ranges with different geologic structures and formations. While, there are more than 3000 quartzite sandstone pillars and peaks settled in Zhangjiajie Wulingyuan Scenic Area and many over 200 meters in height, along with many ravines and gorges with attractive streams, pools, lakes, rivers and waterfalls.
