Suzhou Shanghai High Speed Train Route

Suzhou (in Jiangsu Province) and Shanghai are both located in the lower reaches of Yangtze River. The distance of the high speed railway between them is just 81km, so there is few stopover railways station between them. Suzhou Railway Station (苏州站)

Location: No. 27, Suzhan Road, Gusu District, Suzhou (姑苏区苏站路27号)

Suzhou Railway Station is an important high speed train railway station serving Shanghai Beijing Railway and Shanghai-Wuhan-Chengdu High Speed Railway. Most of the high speed trains from Suzhou to Shanghai depart from Suzhou Railway Station. Besides, it is quite close to many top attractions in Suzhou, like the Humble Administrative Garden (3km), Lingering Garden (3km) and Suzhou Museum (4km). It is also linked with metro Line 4.

Suzhou North Railway Station (Suzhoubei Railway Station, 苏州北站)

Location: Chengtong Road, Xiangcheng District, Suzhou (江苏省苏州市相城区城通路)

Located in northwest Suzhou, Suzhou North Railway Station, Suzhou railway Station is also serves for Shanghai Beijing High Speed Railway. Compared with Suzhou Railway Station, it is much farther to the attractions in Suzhou City. It is available to take metro Line 2 to get there.

Shanghai Hongqiao Railway Station (上海虹桥站)

Location: No. 1500, Mingui Road, Minhang District. (上海市闵行区申贵路1500号)

Most of the high speed trains from Suzhou to Shanghai will arrive at Shanghai Hongqiao Railway Station. As the main high speed railway station in Shanghai, Shanghai Hongqiao Railway Station operates frequent high speed trains to the major cities in China. Shanghai Railway Station (上海站)

Location: No. 303, Moling Road, Jing'an District (上海市静安区秣陵路303号)

Located in the downtown area of Shanghai, Shanghai Railway Station is quite close to the top attractions in Shanghai, like the Bund, Yu Garden, Nanjing Road and Shanghai Museum. Both of metro Line 2 and metro Line 4 are able to take you to there.

The train ticket can be booked online, with a ticket agency, at the ticket offices in railway stations etc. Remember to book your ticket as soon as possible, especially in the peak seasons.
