Option 1: Beijing to Qingdao Train

There are about 10 high speed trains from Beijing to Qingdao. Most of them are G-series trains from Beijing South Railway Station to Qingdao Railway Station and will need 4-5 hours. Occasionally, there will be a couple of G or D train schedules from Beijing South Railway Station or Beijing Railway Station to Qingdao North Railway Station and it will take 3-8 hours.

Beijing South Railway Station (北京南站)
Location: No.12, Yongwai Avenue, Fengtai District, South Beijing (北京市丰台区永外大街12号), about 7 km, 30 minutes’ drive to Beijing downtown (Tian’anmen Square), 40km (1 hour's drive) to Beijing Capital International Airport.

Beijing Railway Station (北京站)
Location: No.13, Maojiawan Hutong Jia, Dongcheng District, Southeast Beijing (北京市东城区毛家湾胡同甲13号), about 4.5 km, 15 minutes’ drive to Beijing downtown (Tian’anmen Square), 35km (1 hour's drive) to Beijing Capital International Airport.

Qingdao Railway Station (青岛站)
Location: No. 2 Taian Road, Shinan District, Qingdao City (青岛市市南区泰安路2号), about 8 km (0.5h by car or subway) to Qingdao downtown (May Fourth Square), 30 km (1h by car, 1h45min by bus) to Qingdao Liuting International Airport.

Qingdao North Railway Station (青岛北站)
Location: No. 1 Jingle Road, Licang District, Qingdao City (青岛市李沧区静乐路1号), about 18 km (1h by car or subway) to Qingdao downtown (May Fourth Square), 14 km (40 minutes by car, 70 minutes by bus) to Qingdao Liuting International Airport.

Option 2: Beijing to Qingdao Flight

Beijing Capital International Airport and Beijing Daxing International Airport both operate direct flights to Qingdao and it only takes 1.5 hours. There are about 13 flights a day. As Beijing airports are rather busy, if you plan to travel by air, please make sure to get to the airport 2 hours ahead of time for security check and boarding. Beijing Capital International Airport (IATA:PEK)
Location: Jichang West Rd, Chaoyang District, Beijing (北京朝阳区机场西路), about 30 km, 1 hour’s drive to Beijing downtown (Tian’anmen Aquare).

Beijing Daxing International Airport (IATA:PKX)
Location: Daxing District, Beijing & Guangyang District, Langfang City, Hebei (北京市大兴区礼贤镇、榆垡镇及廊坊市广阳区交汇处), about 55 km, 1 hour’s drive to Beijing downtown (Tian’anmen Aquare).

Qingdao Liuting International Airport (IATA: TAO)
Location: Liuting Street, Chengyang District, Qingdao City, Shandong Province (山东省青岛市城阳区流亭街道), about 27 km (1h by car, 1h50min by bus) to Qingdao downtown (May Fourth Square).
