Though now called Chengdu Tourist Transportation & Service Center (成都旅游客运中心), Xinnanmen Bus Station (新南门客运站) is the name people are more familiar with. First built in 1975, it has grown to the largest main hub station of highway tourism transport in Sichuan province.

There are over 900 bus shifts running from Xinnanmen Bus Station to cities in and out of Sichuan. People can get to most tourist destinations in Sichuan such as Jiuzhaigou, Leshan, Emeishan, Mount Qingcheng, Daocheng Yading from here.

Xinnanmen Bus Station is in No. 57 Linjiang Road, Xinnanmen, Wuhou District, Chengdu (成都市武侯区新南门临江路57号). It’s in Chengdu downtown, about 3.7km to Tianfu Square - Chengdu center, 13.5km to Chengdu East Railway Station, and 17.5km to Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport. People can get there easily by bus or you can take metro Line 3 and get off at Xinnanmen Station.

Xinnanmen Bus Station provides online booking service. People can buy tickets 5-15 days before the departure date according to the destination you choose. But the website is in Chinese.
