Located 128 kilometers away from Chengdu, Ya’an is humid subtropical monsoon climate, with an average annual temperature of 14.1℃- 17.9℃.

It also called the rain city with an average annual rainfall of about 1800 mm, mostly concentrated in the night of summer. Generally, there isn’t cold Winter and hot Summer, therefore the four seasons are available for traveling and the best time to visit Ya’an is from April to October.

Spring: Spring is from February to April with warm weather and green plants recovery. It’s the great season to climb Mengding Mountain to pick the spring tea and enjoy the breeze from the top by having a panoramic view of Ya’an.
