No.1: Attend Qingdao International Beer Festival

Qingdao has a long history in beer-production. In recent years the Qingdao International Beer Festival has become a major event in the calendar of this beautiful city.

The first Beer Festival took place back in 1991. It is now held once a year on the second weekend of the August, and lasts for 16 days. Many top brewers are invited to the festival, such as Budweiser, Carlsberg and some domestic brewers. You can indulge yourself in beer of many brands from all over the country. In the Qingdao International Beer City, where the festival is held, you can enjoy the "Beer Carnival" games, beer tasting, drinking contests, music, food, and interactive performances.

No.2: Drink Beers in Qingdao Beer Street

Want to try the most famous brand of beer in China? The sweet, mellow Tsingdao Beer is probably the best-known product of the beautiful coastal city. It is recommended to go to Qingdao Beer Street (close to Old Tsingdao Brewery, now the China’s first beer museum).

The 100-year-old Qingdao Beer Street is lined with dozens of bars and restaurants that are decorated in a unique Sino-European style. It is representative of the local beer culture.

In Qingdao Beer Street, on one hand, you could enjoy the nice Tsingdao Beer; on the other hand, you could taste the delicious seafood.

Qingdao is home to a variety of seafood. You can have a seafood banquet in any of the numerous restaurants on the street.
