How to Get from Jiuzhaigou to Chengdu 2024

From: Jiuzhaigou Huanglong Airport (Jiuzhaigou Airport for short) 九寨沟黄龙机场

To: Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport 成都双流国际机场

Located in Songpan County, 88 km away from Jiuzhaigou Valley, Jiuzhaigou Airport serves for Jiuzhaigou tourism mainly. Each day, there are a few direct flights from Jiuzhaigou to Chengdu, and the flights vary in different seasons. There are also flights from Jiuzhaigou to Chongqing and in peak season, you may find limited flights running to other cities from Jiuzhaigou. Please contact us for detailed info if you are in need.

Jiuzhaigou to Chengdu Bus

From: Jiuzhaigou Jiutong Bus Station (九寨沟九通客运服务站) / Jiuzhaizhou Bus Station (九寨沟汽车站)

To: Xinnanmen Bus Station (新南门客运站) / Chadianzi Bus Station (茶店子客运站)

Compared with flights from Jiuzhaigou to Chengdu, buses from Jiuzhaigou to Chengdu buses are limited and quite time-consuming which take about 8-10 hours as per the weather and traffic conditions. Therefore, all buses need to depart in the morning.

Please Note： There are two bus stations in Jiuzhaigou County. One is located near the entrance of Jiuzhaigou Scenic Area, namely Jiutong Bus Station, while the other is about 41km away from it, in the county downtown area, called Jiuzhaigou Bus Station. If you are leaving from the scenic area, you'd better take the bus from the first one and there are less than 5 daily buses running every morning by 8 am. You are recommended to book a bus ticket in advance especially during the peak season, otherwiser you may need to take a county bus and travel another 75 km to get on the bus from Jiuzhaigou Bus Station.

Note: Located in Jiuzhaigou County, Jiuzhaigou Bus Station is about 41km away from Jiuzhaigou Scenic Area. you may need to get up really early to catch your bus if you bought the bus tciket departing there.
