Once inside, we recommend that visitors choose to take the cableway (round-trip CNY 120/pp, CNY 65/pp for the ascent, and CNY 55/pp for the descent) to ascend and descend the mountain to save energy. Entering from the South Entrance of Shenxianju Scenic Area and taking the Nantian Cableway up the mountain, heading towards the direction of Buddha’s Grace on the Lotus (佛影莲韵), passing by the Immortality Peach Garden (蟠桃园) and Niubei Tower (牛背楼), is the quickest way to reach the Ruyi Bridge. If you enter through the North Entrance, you can start by taking the scenic area’s shuttle bus for a short ride to the Beihai Cableway lower station (北海索道下站). From there, take the cableway up the mountain to make your way to the Ruyi Bridge.
While the aforementioned approaches offer the quickest means of accessing the Ruyi Bridge, the majority of visitors tend to incorporate a visit to the Ruyi Bridge into their overall itinerary for exploring the Shenxianju Scenic Area.
