My wife and I have been going to China every year for the last 5 years. Most of the time we just go on our own, we've tried a couple of tours but they were never that good. After researching Guilin I decided we were probably going to need to do a tour. I started researching online travel sites and was not really impressed until I came across China Discovery website. I really like the fact that they posted pictures of the staff and reviews from former customers. I made an inquiry and we were assigned Lyn Wang as our travel consultant who was great. She listen to what we wanted and came up with itinerary that suited us. She also helped us with some train tickets because we needed to make a side trip to Wuzhou to visit my wife's family.

When we arrived by train in Guilin we were met by our tour guide Daniel who was also great. He took such good care of us. The highlights of the trip were Yao mountain, Reed Flute cave, Elephant trunk hill, Li River Cruise, Hiking along the Yulong river, bamboo rafting on the Yulong, eveing performance of Impression Liu Sanjie. We stayed 3 nights in Guilin and 2 nights in Yangshuo.

We highly recommend China Discovery tours and Lyn Wang as your travel consultant and also ask for Daniel as your tour guide. On the day we left he actually escorted us inside the terminal, helped us check in and walked with us to security where he had to say goodbye.
