Recently returned from our China adventure organized by China Discovery.

Fair to say it was a wonderful trip and we have all fallen just a little bit in love with China. Every part of our trip managed by China Discovery went very smoothly. Seeing all the iconic sites and meeting residents was very special and will always be remembered.

Generally, we found the itinerary perfect to introduce us to China. From the Great Wall and Forbidden City in Beijing, to pandas in Chengdu, the Terracotta Warriors in Xian and the Yangtze River Cruise, we felt we had the opportunity to explore all these landmarks and still had time to experience the culture of the country. Our personalized guides and drivers were happy to work with us around our requirements and made sure that we had contact details for the next guide as we travelled from city to city. All our guides were great with good English but a special shout out to Andy in Beijing and Linda in Xian who were exceptional.

Accommodation throughout, including on board the Victoria Jenna, was all of an excellent standard and our personalized transport was both clean and very comfortable and the drivers very skilled.

Our consultant in the lead up to the trip, Jack, was also very thorough and responsive. The whole trip went smoothly; the meals ordered in consultation with us were delicious and we are very happy travelers.

For what was offered, this trip was very cost effective and based on this experience, I highly recommend China Discovery to anyone wanting to explore China in a supported, but not intrusive, personalized way.
