Outstanding 3-Week Family Tour of China – Seamless, Enriching, and Truly Memorable!

We recently returned from a 3-week family trip to China organized by China Discovery and tour consultant Phoebe and we couldn’t be more thrilled with the experience. Traveling as a family of three, including 2 seniors, we were looking for a trip that balanced cultural immersion, natural beauty, comfort, and hassle-free logistics — and this tour delivered on all fronts.

From the moment we arrived, every detail was thoughtfully arranged. Our itinerary commenced with a Yangtze cruise from Yichang to Chongqing to the scenic beauty of Yunnan – including Kunming, Dali, Lijiang, and the breathtaking Lugu Lake . Each destination came with knowledgeable, English-speaking local guides who brought the places to life with insights into history, culture, and local customs.

The accommodations were comfortable, booked by us with recommendations from Phoebe suited our family’s needs perfectly. Transportation, including trains, and private transfers, was smooth and well-coordinated. We especially appreciated the personal touches — like flexibility with our pace, and thoughtful recommendations for local food and activities.

This trip gave us not just beautiful photos, but lasting memories and a deep appreciation of China’s diversity and heritage. A big thank you to China Discovery and Phoebe for going above and beyond to make this a stress-free and enriching journey. Highly recommended for families looking to explore China in comfort and depth!
