Day 1 Beihai Arrival

Welcome to Beihai! Upon your arrival, your local guide and driver will meet at the arrival hall of the airport / railway station of Beihai and then escort you to your hotel in Beihai downtown and help you check in. The rest of the day is on your own to relax and discover the beautiful Beihai!

Arrival Ideas: Beihai has direct flights from around 30 domestic cities including Beijing, Shanghai, Chengdu, Xian, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Changsha, etc. Besides, there are bullet trains from Nanning (1.5 hrs), Guilin (4.5 hrs), etc.

Day 2 Beihai - Weizhou Island (B, L)

Good morning! Today, your local guide and driver will meet in the hall of your hotel in Beihai downtown, and then take you to embark the about 1.5-hour ferry to Weizhou Island. Weizhou Island is the largest and youngest volcanic island in China and is super beautiful like an emerald jade looked from the sky. Cosy sunshine, soft white sand, blue sea, and verdant grooves makes Weizhou Island one of the most popular beach resorts in China!

After arrival at Weizhou Island, take the battery vehicle to your hotel on the island and check in. Have a short break and then go to discover Dishuidanping Scenic Spot. It is a seaside rocky cliff at the southwest part of Weizhou Island and is a must-see highlight to enjoy the layers of clear marine corrosion texture and the drops like strings of pearls from the rocks and the luxuriant plants. At the sunset time, appreciate the setting sun adding shining golden brilliance on the sea surface and the fabulous rosy and orange evening glow. Enjoy your quiet and romantic emptying time with sea breeze.

Stay overnight at Weizhou Island.

Day 3 Weizhou Island (B, L)

Good morning! After breakfast, your guide will meet you at your hotel and then take you to visit the Crocodile Mountain Scenic Area which is a volcanic national geopark and has the most concentrated landscape of marine abrasion and accumulation geometries. Walk up passing the symbolic towering lighthouse and along the paths to be pleased by the lush tropical grooves and gardens and reach the highest point to marvel at the large area of volcanic lava left and the grand view of the azure sea and layers of falling and rising white spindrift. Continue to visit Museum of Weizhou Island National Volcanic Geopark to look at those precious volcanic specimen collections and the wonderful demonstration of the volcanic eruption scene happened then thousand years ago.

Have a glimpse at the Monument Square. Then, take the battery vehicle to have a relaxing scenic riding along the Huandao Road to admire the island sightseeing with one side of shimmering blue sea and the other of emerald plantations.

Then, go to visit Shiluokou. You can create more fun with the optional marine sports (extra charged), like dressing your swimwear to enjoy snorkeling and marvel at the wonderful coral world and play with groups of various little fishes in the magical ocean, getting fully released and feel the cool speed and fun by surfing and sailing. Have your great time with the water! (Note: prepare your own swimwear and tell your guide if you want to enjoy the optional marine sports)

After today’s visit, be escorted back to your hotel and have a good rest!

Day 4 Weizhou Island - Beihai (B, L)

This morning, you can get up early to catch the poetic sunrise at Five Colors Beach on the southeast of Weishou Island. It will give you the fresh joyous mood when the golden sun rises gentling and ignites the morning clouds, blue sky on the east and the sea with some yellow, orange and pink. Also, the light shining down on the marine erosion ditches and the beach with countless rocks makes Five Colors Beach an ideal photography spot! Enjoy your peaceful time with the rising sun and go back to your hotel for breakfast. Then, be transferred to visit the Catholic Church in Shengtang Village that is a typical Gothic architecture from the French Renaissance period and also the earliest church in whole Beihai City. Have a leisure walk around the church of around 1,000 s.q.m large to soak in the historical architecture built with local corals, rocks and lime, Roman spires and a bell tower, quite eye-catching from afar. You can enter the church to appreciate the dome and the solemn decoration.

The rest of the day is on your own to explore Weizhou Island till your guide takes you to board the ship for Beihai and escorts you to your hotel in Beihai downtown. Stay overnight in Beihai!

Day 5 Beihai & Beihai Departure (B, L)

After breakfast, be transferred to explore Beihai Old Street constructed from 1883. Take your leisure stroll along the around 200-year-old street featured with typical arcade buildings with combined Chinese and Western charm and admire those historically left sites of consulates, cathedral, foreign firms, etc. telling the prosperity and famous stories of Beihai. Nowadays, it is one of the cultural symbols in Beihai and still lively with commercial shops, eateries, tea houses, etc.

Next, drive along the verdant tree-lined road up to the top at Guantouling National Forest Park that is the highest place in Beihai. Reach the observation deck to overlook the emerald South Sea, dots of sailing boats, snow-like sea spray, various reefs, etc.

Then, continue to visit Silver Beach (Yintan) which has been named for its sand with silver glory in the sunshine. It is the must-see attraction in Beihai and is reputed as “No.1 beach in China” for its fine, soft and white sand and also wide beach area stretching up to 24 kilometers. Take off your shoes to walk on the comfortable sand beach and watch the tides rushing forward and disappearing. You can also sit here for some peaceful time.

After the sightseeing, your guide and driver will send you to the airport / railway station in Beihai for your flight / train to your next destination or home. Tour ends!

The quotation for this trip is from Request Per Person

1. This price is for one person, based on a group of 2 adults sharing one standard double-bed room in a 4-star hotel and traveling with our private tour in low seasons.
2. This price is subject to change according your traveling season, group size, hotel class, change of activities in your itinerary and possible fluctuation of currency exchange rate. If you want a lower price, you can get more people to join you, or use economy class hotels.
3. This price is only valid to March 31, 2025.
4. Reference exchange rate of USD 1=RMB 7.00. The final quote is based on current exchange rate. It may change according to the currency fluctuation, while the RMB quotation will be remained the same.
