In china, we call dumpling as “Jiaozi”, and this is a very traditional Chinese food. It’s also easy to learn. The Dumpling Banquet of Xian is very famous in China. In the banquet, a hundred dumplings have a hundred flavors. Now, you know how famous Xian’s dumpling is.
When you visit Xian, you can learn home-made flavor dumpling at the local family. Your guide and your driver will drive you to a local family to pay a visit. The family member will usually prepare the materials of the dumpling before your arrive. Then, the local family will teach how to make dumpling hand by hand. The family will also prepare some fried dishes and cold dishes, and beverages are also provided. The amount of the dishes will be arranged according to how many people of you.
After all finished, you can eat your own dishes together with the local family, and chat with them to know more about Chinese culture and the local life.

Normally, there are two classes every day, from 09:30 to 13:30 and from 15:30 to 19:30. You can choose the best suitable one.

In the Yangshuo Cooking Class, you will learn: how to properly heat a wok and when to toss fresh vegetables into the sizzling oil; how to properly chop vegetables; how to properly use the right amount of spice, which should enhance the dish, but not overpower it.
