Shanghai Shenzhen High Speed Railway & Train Map 2020
Shenzhen, a fishing village 30 years ago, now has grown to a big city. Visiting Shenzhen allows you to witness the earthshaking changes of China and you can also visit some historical sites related to Hakka culture. In many travelers’ itineraries, Shanghai is always the first stop because it can be easily approached by international flights. After a Shanghai tour, it is available to take a high speed train to Shenzhen. From 07:46 to 11:24, there are 6 high speed trains usually running from or passing through Shanghai Hongqiao Railway Station to Shenzhen North Railway Station and all of them are D-trains. The whole train journey of the trains takes about 11.5 hours. The trains arrive at 19:20 ~ 22:50 so you can enjoy the scenery along the railway in the daytime during your trip. There also 2 normal T-trains available to transfer between Shanghai and Shenzhen, but they take 7 more hours.

Shanghai Shenzhen High Speed Railway is 1,623 kilometers (1,008 miles) long. Starting from Shanghai, it passes through Zhejiang Province and Fujian Province to Guangdong Province. Traveling with Shanghai Shenzhen High Speed Train, you can enjoy the great rural views of southeastern China. Along the railway station, there are 27 midway railway stations, including Hangzhou East (杭州东), Ningbo (宁波), Wenzhou South (温州南), Fuzhou South (福州南), Xiamen North (厦门北), Huizhou South (惠州南), etc. In peak seasons, there will be some additional high speed trains which only stop in some of the midway train stations.
Shanghai Hongqiao Railway Station (上海虹桥站)
Shanghai Hongqiao Railway Station is located in No.1500, Shengui Road, Minhang District, West Shanghai (上海市闵行区申贵路1500号), about 20km to the center of Shanghai. It is connected with Terminal 2 of Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport by a passageway and you walk between them within 10 minutes. As an important transportation hub in Shanghai, there are several transportation means you can take from different places to the railway station, including metro Line 2 and Line 10, public bus and taxi. Shenzhen North Railway Station (深圳北站)
Shenzhen North Railway Station is the largest and most fully-equipped railway station in Shenzhen. It is an important midway railway station along Guangzhou-Shenzhen-Hong Kong High Speed Railway and the departure station of Hangzhou-Shenzhen High Speed Railway. Located in No. 28, Zhiyuan Middle Road, Longhua New District, Shenzhen (深圳市龙华新区致远中路28号), it is about 16km (40 minutes' driving) to Window of the World. You can get there by metro Line 4 and Line 5.
