Beijing Weather October & Useful Tips for Travelling Beijing in October

It is still a little bit hot at noon. The temperature drops a lot during the night, and it gradually becomes cooler. Check the weather forecast at least one week in advance and pack suitable items.

To enjoy the fall foliage in October, you can not miss the Fragrant Hill Park (Pinyin: Xiangshan Gongyuan 香山公园) and Pofeng Ridge (Pinyin: Pofengling 坡峰岭) where miles of woods are clothed in reddish or scarlet. Forest parks with ancient temples are worthwhile sites to visit in autumn.
