What to Wear & Pack in Beijing in June

Beijing in June has already shown some signs of hot summer, so T-shirts, trousers, dresses, and comfortable shoes will do during the day, but in the early morning, at night, and when it rains, the temperature may drop a little, so you can pack a long-sleeved shirt just in case.

1. Try to avoid the statutory holiday Dragon Boat Festival. It’s on the 5th day of the fifth lunar month (usually in early June) and the holiday lasts 3 days. Because during the time there will be much more tourists and you may expect a price rise in accommodation and meals.

How to Plan a Beijing June Tour

On the last day, pay a visit to the Temple of Heaven, originally a site used to pay homage to Heaven and pray for good harvests.
