Beijing Capital International Airport (北京首都机场)
Location: Jichang West Rd, Chaoyang District, Beijing (北京朝阳区机场西路)
Beijing Capital International Airport (IATA: PEK) is present most frequently-used airport in Beijing. It is located northeast of Beijing downtown, about 25km away from city center (Tiananmen Square). It offers accessible subway (airport line, No.15), public bus, airport shuttle bus and taxi. It is located in about 40km away from southwest of the city of Harbin and it takes about 45 minutes' driving. There is no metro line passing through the airport till now, so you can only take airport express and public bus or call a taxi. Harbin Taiping International Airport operates domestic flights to most major cities, including Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Xian, Chengdu, Zhengzhou, Hangzhou, Changsha, as well as regional flights to Hong Kong and Taibai. Besides, Harbin is also connected with some cities in Russia, Thailand, Korea and Japan.
High Speed Trains from Beijing to Harbin
There are 6 high speed trains accesible to take you from Beijing to Harbin, including 2 high speed G-trains and 4 high speed D-trains. G381 departs from Beijing South Railway Station in the morning and arrives in Harbin West Railway Station in the afternoon. G393 leaving Beijing South Railway Station for Mudanjiang Railway Station will take a stop in Harbin Railway Station. It takes about 6.5 ~ 7.5 hours usually by high speed G-trains. All of D-trains from Beijing to Harbin will run from Beijing Railway Station and stop in Harbin West Railway Station. D-trains need a longer time (7.5~8.5 hours) but at a lower price. Beijing South Railway Station (Beijingnan Railway Station, 北京南站)
Location: No.12, Yongwai Avenue, Fengtai District, South Beijing (北京市丰台区永外大街12号)
Beijing South Railway Station is the largest and one of the busiest railway stations served in Beijing. It is about 7km (about 30 minutes' driving) away to Beijing city center (Tiananmen Square) and 40km (about 1 hour's driving) away to Beijing Capital International Airport. It can be reached by metro Line 4 and Line 14. You can also take several buses or call a taxi to get there. Harbin West Railway Station is located in southern area of Harbin City, about 30 minutes' driving to Harbin Ice and Snow World and Harbin Taiping International Airport. It is available to get to Harbin by metro Line 3, public bus or taxi. As the first high speed railway station in Heilongjiang Province, Harbin West Railway Station handles about 400 trains one day. There are daily high speed trains to lots of cities, including Beijing, Shanghai, Hangzhou, Nanjing, Guangzhou, Qingdao, etc.
Harbin Railway Station (哈尔滨站)

Harbin Railway Station is a big railway hub in Heilongjiang as well. It is about 2km away from Harbin Ice and Snow World and 40km away from Harbin Taiping Airport.
