Jiuhua Street on Mount Jiuhua is more recommended because you can conveniently continue your trip next day from there.

Is Camping Allowed on Mount Jiuhua?

Yes, camping is allowed on Mount Jiuhua. But it is not recommended or necessary. You need to take your own camping gears such as the tent and moisture-proof pad to the mountain. Then you need to find an open land to set up your tent. Most people choose places near Baisuigong Temple or Tiantai Temple if it’s not crowded, few will camp in Huatai Scenic Area. It is windy on Mount Jiuhua and the temperature will drop when night falls. It is more recommended to stay in a warm and comfortable hotel as there are many choices from luxury ones to economical homestays.
