FAQs & Tips about Yangtze Cruise Payment
1. What does my cruise fare include and exclude?
The cruise price we offered includes:
- Entrance Fees: The arranged shore excursions listed in the itinerary of your cruise ship;
- Meals: The daily meals (specified with “B”, “L” or “D”) on your cruise ship;
- Drinks: Drinking water, coffee, milk and other complimentary soft drinks served in the dining room at the meal time;
- Cabins: A bed in the cabin as specified in the itinerary. You could enjoy your room during daytime and night. Usually,
Chongqing to Yichang for 3 nights onboard;
Yichang to Chongqing for 4 nights onboard;
- Activities & Lectures: Captain Welcome Party, cabaret shows, Chinese Yangtze culture and history lectures, Captain Farewell party, seasonal DIY activities, etc.;
- Cleaning: room cleaning service every day;
- Local guides for the arranged shore excursions;
- Accident Injury Insurance;
- Service Charge & Government Taxes.
What's Excluded?
- Transfers: Between airport/hotel and cruise terminal in each city not specified in the itinerary;
- Optional Shore Excursions: Different cruise companies have different prices for per person per optional land tour. (most shore excursions are charged for around CNY 290~325 per person each tour. You can check detailed prices from the specific itinerary of your cruise.)
- Personal Expenses: Expenses of a purely personal nature such as beverages, laundry, clinic service, faxes, telephone calls, spa, massage, sauna, salon, shopping, Internet & Wifi, DVDs, etc.
- Meals: Any meals which are not specified with "B", "L", or "D".
- Drinks: Any beverage served with extra payments onboard;
- Single Room Supplement: If you want to stay in one cabin (usually two beds in one cabin) on your own, you need to pay higher than one room shared with another.
- Service Charge: there is a mandatory service charge required to be paid at the ship reception counter when checking in the cruise or together with your cruise fare when booking with your travel consultant (The detailed prices and patterns of payment vary based on different cruise companies, and your travel expert will help you when booking). 2. How do I pay for my cruise?
We accept various payment methods: PayPal, Credit, Western Union, Wire Transfer, and Cash Payment upon arrival. The following are the Six easy steps to have your favorite
- ● Choose your favorite cruise ship from our Ship Layout. Useful information as Yangtze cruise routes, updated cruise calendars are offered for reference.
- ● Submit inquiry on-line. You’ll receive the sample itinerary and quotation from our travel advisors within 23.5 hours.
- ● Discuss the details with your private travel advisor if you need any special order (like accommodation, local transfers, and flight in port cities). You can also customize an extended China Yangtze tour with us. Then, a detailed proposal and price can be done.
- ● Confirm acceptance and pay 50% deposit to us. Or pay in full if you can’t pay the balance no later than 30 days prior to your arrival date.The payment methods we accept include: PayPal, Credit Card, Western Union and Wire Transfer.
- ● Receive our final confirmation and tour voucher. They are not needed to get onboard. You just tell your name and show your passport to the receptionists when boarding the cruise.

3. Should I pay tips onboard?
Almost all the 5-star ships require a compulsory ship service charge (150-200 Yuan/person) which is required to be paid when booking or checking in at the reception counter; it is the regulation of the ship companies which passengers are supposed to follow. The tip amount differs from different cruise lines and will be specified in our confirmation letter, please kindly note this so that inconvenience can be avoided.
