Take a shore excursion to Three Gorges Dam Site and marvel at the great project and feats of Chinese people, then take the arranged bus to Yichang Three Gorges Center Cruise Terminal for departure. Note: After the visit of Three Gorges Dam, you can take optional experience to pass through Ship Lift, to visit Tribe of Three Gorges or to visit the Quyuan Temple. (1) If you choose to pass through the ship lift, you will arrive at Yichang Three Gorges Center Cruise Terminal at about 13:30pm; (2) If you choose to visit the Quyuan Temple, you will arrive at the Yichang Three Gorges Center Cruise Terminal at about 13:00pm; (3) If you choose to visit the Tribe of Three Gorges, you will arrive at the Yichang Three Gorges Center Cruise Terminal at about 17:00pm. |

The itineraries, ports, departure & arrival time, shore excursions listed above are subject to change according to the weather, river condition and permission from the navigational authorities. Besides, activities onboard, dining and entertainment options vary and are subject to change.
2. Optional Excursions
The Yangtze Gold cruise company will arrange three shore excursions during the whole cruise between Chongqing and Yichang and usually there are two or three OPTIONAL shore excursions which are not listed in the fixed itinerary that travelers can decide to go or not based on your interest, real physical condition and budget. The optional sites will be visited depending on the number of travelers who want to go and the cost is 290 RMB for each one site per person, except Shibaozhai Pagoda charges for 220 RMB/person, Mini Three Gorges charges for 150 RMB/person, Return to the Three Gorges Show for 320 RMB/person, Quyuan Temple charges for 220 RMB/person (180 RMB/person when visiting with the Three Gorges Dam) and White Emperor City plus Return to the Three Gorges Show for 490 RMB/person. If you want to go, tell the reception desk who would register for you and receive your pay in site. The ARRANGED shore excursions are included in your quotation, so you could visit the sites without extra charge. However, if you do not visit the sites, the fees of arranged shore excursion sites are not refunded. You could stay on the ship to enjoy some leisure time. For your safety, you are not allowed to leave your ship on your own.
3. Physical Challenge
The shore excursions to “Fengdu Ghost City” and “Shibaozhai Pagoda” need some steps climbing and comfortable shoes re highly recommended! If you have problems with steps, you can choose to stay on the ship without joining in the excursions (If it is the arranged shore excursion by the cruise company, please note that there is no refund).
