The Lantern Festival falls on the 15th day of the first lunar month. According to the “San Yuan” in Taoism, the 15th day of the first lunar month is also called the "Shangyuan Festival". The 15th day of the 1st lunar month is the first full moon night of the year, so it’s called “Yuan Xiao Jie (元宵节)” in Chinese.
