From about 06:55 to 18:40, there are about 10 daily high speed trains running from Shanghai Hongqiao Railway Station to Wuyishan East Railway Station and Wuyishan North Railway Station. The whole train journey takes only about 3 ~ 4 hours. The trains will also stop in Paradise City Hangzhou. You can take a high speed train from Hangzhou to Wuyishan within 2 hours and 40 minutes.

Shanghai Hongqiao Railway Station
Railway Stations: Fuzhou – Wuyishan East / Wuyishan North

As the capital of Fujian Province, Fuzhou can be reached by flights from several foreign cities, like Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok, New York, Tokyo and son on. If you want to get to Wuyishan at the fastest speed, you can take an international flight from these cities and then take a high speed train to Fuzhou.
Fuzhou Wuyishan High Speed Rail is one part of Beijing Fuzhou High Speed Rail. Fuzhou Railway Stations operates over 45 high speed trains to Wuyishan East Railway Station and Wuiyishan North Railway Station. From 06:55 to 20:56, there is 1~4 train available in every hour. Within 1.5 hours, travelers are able to travel between Fuzhou and Wuyishan.

Beijing Wuyishan High Speed Rail is the other part of Beijing Fuzhou High Speed Rail. There are 6 high speed G-trains running from Beijing South Railway Station to Wuyishan East Railway Station and Wuyishan North Railway Station from 08:40 to 12:30 usually. The fastest train takes about 6 hours 50 minutes and the slowest high speed train takes no more than 8 hours and 22 minutes.

Beijing South Railway Station
Apart from Xiamen, Huangshan, Fuzhou, Shanghai and Beijing, there are many some other cities running high speed trains to Wuyishan as well. Zhengzhou operates 4 daily high speed trains to Wuyishan, which cost about 6.5 ~ 7 hours. Nanjing operates 4 daily high speed trains to Wuyishan as well and the train journey takes about 4 hours. Moreover, it is also well connected with Shenzhen (about 7 hours), Guiyang (about 7 hours), Luoyang (about 8 hours), Chongqing (about 9.5 hours), Xian (about 9.5 hours), Kunming (about 10 hours), etc.
Wuyishan has two main railway stations operating high speed trains, namely Wuyishan East Railway Station and Wuyishan North Railway Station.
Wuyishan East Railway Station (武夷山东) is the midway station along Hefei-Fuzhou High Speed Rail. Located in S303, Jianyang District Nanping City, Fujian Province (福建省南平市建阳区S303), it is about 30km (about 35 minutes' driving) to Wuyi Mountain and 50km (about 1 hour's driving ) to the downtown of Wuyishan City.
Wuyishan North Railway Station (武夷山北) is located in Beicheng New District, Wuyishan City, Nanping City, Fujian Province (福建省南平市武夷山市825县道附近), about 20km (about 40 minutes' driving) to Wuyi Mountain and only about 3.5km (about 7 minutes' driving) to Wuyishan City. If both of the two railway stations are available, it is recommended to take a high speed train to Wuyishan North Railway Station because of the close distance to Mount Wuyi and Wuyishan city.
