Guangzhou East Railway Station is located about 6 km from the city center and offers easy access via Metro Line 1 and Line 3. Travelers heading downtown can take Line 1 and get off at Dongshankou Station (东山口站)—reaching central Guangzhou in just around 10 minites. Though smaller than Guangzhou South, this railway station remains a convenient departure point for high-speed trains bound for cities like Xiamen.

Guangzhou South Railway Station sits around 20 km from the city center and is one of the busiest transport hubs in southern China. It connects several major high-speed rail lines and is well served by Metro Lines 2, 7, 22, and the intercity Guangfzhou–Foshan Line, as well as long-distance buses and local public buses. The station is large, modern, and well-equipped with passenger services, and taxis are readily available outside for easy transfers into the city.
