Shanghai Huangshan High Speed Train Route

The high-speed railway connecting Shanghai and Huangshan reaches 444 km (277 miles). Starting or passing from Shanghai Hongqiao Railway Station, it crosses through Zhejiang Province and Anhui Province. There are 3 ~ 8 stopover railway stations along this high-speed railway, including Hangzhou East (杭州东), Fuyang (富阳), Qiandaohu (千岛湖), etc. If you want to extend your tour to other destinations, you are suggested to visit the paradise-like Hangzhou and the scenic Wuyuan (especially in autumn).

Shanghai Hongqiao Railway Station (上海虹桥站)

Location: No. 1500, Mingui Road, Minhang District. (上海市闵行区申贵路1500号)

Shanghai Hongqiao Railway Station is about 20km from the city center. With convenient city transportation, it can be reached by metro Line 2 and Line 10. Maglev train, taxi, and pubic bus are also available to take you to the city area and top attractions in Shanghai. Huangshan North Railway Station (Huangshanbei Railway Station, 黄山北站)

Location: Economic Development Zone, Huangshan City (安徽黄山经济开发区)

Huangshan North Railway Station serves Hangzhou-Huangshan High-Speed Railway and Hefei-Fuzhou High-Speed Railway. Located in north Huangshan city, it takes about 30 minutes to get to the city area by driving. To get to Mount Huang – about 50km away, you can easily take a shuttle bus between Huangshan North Railway Station and the town (called Tangkou) on the foot of Yellow Mountain. Note: There is Huangshan West Railway Station which was newly put into operation in 2024. However, it is not recommended to arrive at Huangshan West Railway Station since it is far from Huangshan downtown and not convenient to transfer.
