Kunming Guilin High Speed Train Route

Kunming Guilin High Speed Railway is measured about 1088 km (679 miles) long. Along the route, High Speed Trains may take a brief stopover at 9~14 stops, including Puzhehei (普者黑), Shilin (石林), Baise (百色), Nanning (南宁), Liuzhou (柳州), etc. After an 8 hour around journey, all the High Speed Trains can finally arrive at Guilin Railway Station, while 3 of them can arrive at Guilin North Railway Station. Kunming South Railway Station

Location: Xiangyuan Road, Chenggong District, Kunming, Yunnan (云南省昆明市呈贡区祥园街-昆明南站)

Located about 5 km away from the city center, Kunming South Railway Station is a vital transportation hub of Kunming. Among the 4 railway stations of Kunming, Kunming South Railway Station is the most frequently used and the newest railway station for High Speed Trains, especially for the intercity trains. Metro line 1 connects there with the downtown area, making it convenient and fast to travel around.

Guilin Railway Station

Location: Xiangshan District, Guilin, Guangxi (广西壮族自治区桂林市象山区 – 桂林站)

Guilin Railway Station is located about 11 min’s driving to The Elephant Trunk Hill, 46 min’s driving to Li River and 1.5 hrs’ driving to Guilin Liangjiang International Airport. It is the first High Speed Railway Station of Guilin. The available time of High Speed Trains for Guilin Railway Station can be traced to 2013. Thus Guilin Railway Station enjoys the most complete transportation facilities like bus lines and taxi. For the locals, they also name Guilin Railway Station as Guilin South Railway Station, though the rail Guilin South Railway Station is used for freight transportation. Guilin North Railway Station

Location: No. 6, Zhanqian Road, Diecai District, Lingchuan County, Guilin, Guangxi (广西壮族自治区桂林市叠彩区站前路6号- 桂林北站)

The renovated Guilin Railway Station was put into operation at 1998. Since then, Guilin North Railway Station became another vital railway station of Guilin. Currently, bus lines and taxi are the mainly available transportation means to get to/from there. The under construction Light Rail Line 1 will be available at 2019. Class of Ticket

Usually, there are three kinds of tickets are provided on high speed trains, Business Class Seat, First Class Seat and Second Class Seat. Second Class Seat is the most budget level you will share a row space with other passengers. And the First Class of Seat is more comfortable and quiet for those who prefer a good rest on the way. Book, Collect, Alter and Cancel

Foreign tourists can book train ticket online or ask help from ticket agency, or buy the tickets physically at the train station with your valid passport.
