Besides, there are also over 35 runs of normal trains transferring between Baotou and Hohhot every day from 05:30~23:30. Compared with high-speed trains, even normal trains would cost more time (1.5~2.5 hours), but there are more options and the ticket price is more affordable.

Location: Nandian Village, Wantong Road, Xincheng District, Hohhot (呼和浩特市新城区万通路南店村)
Transportation: It's about 12 km (20 minutes by car, 40 minutes by metro) to downtown, 13 km (30 minutes’ drive) to Dazhao Temple and 80 km to Xilamuren Grassland (1.5~2 hours by car).

Location: Alatanhan Street, Kundulun District, Baotou (包头市昆都仑区阿拉坦汗大街)

Transportation: It's about 23 km (40~50 minutes by car) to downtown, 50 km (40 minutes’ drive) to Wudangzhao Temple, about 50 km to Xiangshawan, Kubuqi Desert (about 1 hours’ drive); about 150 km to Yemingsha Scenic Area, Kubuqi Desert (2~2.5 hours’ drive); and 4~5 km driving distance to Baotou Donghe Airport (around 15 minutes’ drive).
