Taking a high-speed train is a popular way among travelers to transfer between Hangzhou and Shaoxing. Over 60 daily G and D trains travel for about 20 minutes between them. These trains leave from Hangzhou East Railway Station (杭州东站), which is located 7km (40 minutes by car) northeast from West Lake, and arrive at Shaoxing North Railway Station (绍兴北站), during 6:30-21:30. For those who plan to transfer to the Shaoxing city center where Luxun Native Place is located, another 0.5-hour car ride is needed.
