Hangzhou to Huangshan (Yellow Mountain) High Speed Train Schedules, Fares and Stations

Hangzhou Huangshan tour line is one of the most popular China exploration routes that connects Hangzhou and Huangshan, two world’s famous tourist destinations. Since 25 December, 2018, the newly-built Hangzhou Huangshan High Speed Railway offers fast and convenient way to travel from Hangzhou to Huangshan within around 1.5 hours.

Currently, Hangzhou runs 22 daily high speed bullet trains to Huangshan every day, from about 07:00 am to 21:30 pm. All the bullet trains depart from Hangzhou East Railway Station and arrive at Huangshan North Railway Station.

Hangzhou Huangshan High Speed Train Route

The newly-opened Hangzhou Huangshan High Speed Railway is the first section of the Hangzhou Nanchang High Speed Railway, which runs between Hangzhou and Huangshan in Eastern China. With an total length of 265km (165miles), the rail goes southwestward and passes 6~8 new midway stations in Zhejiang and neighboring Anhui Province, including Hangzhou East (杭州东), Fuyang (富阳), Tonglu (桐庐), Jiande (建德), Qiandao Lake (千岛湖), Jidi North (绩溪北) and Huangshan North (黄山北). Some lines connected with other rails can also extend to farther destinations in Jiangxi Province, such as to Wuyuan (婺源) and Jingdezhen Town North (景德镇北) in shorter travel time.

Hangzhou East Railway Station 杭州东站

Location: No.1, Tiancheng Road, Jianggan District, Hangzhou, Zhejiang (浙江省杭州市江干区天城路1号)

Hangzhou East Railway Station is a vital hig hspeed railway station of Hangzhou. It is located about 40 min’s driving to the dreamy West Lake, Lingyin Temple and Six Harmonies Pagoda (Liuhe Tower). Metro line 1, metro line 4, public bus lines and taxi are available there for you to travel around the city.

Huangshan North Railway Station 黄山北站

Location: No.2, Yingkesong Road, Tunxi District, Huangshan, Anhui (安徽省黄山市屯溪区迎客松大道北2号)

With a distance about 45km, the Hangzhou North Railway Station is the nearest railway station for the travelers who want to visit the Yellow Mountain (Huangshan). Special Tour Buses are available there, by which travelers can get to Huangshan within about 50 min’ driving, to Hongcun within about 1 hour’ driving, to Qiyunshan within about 30 min’s driving, etc. Other than the tour bus lines, public bus lines and high speed shuttle bus lines have covered there, proving ways to travel to the city center and the Huangshan Tunxi International Airport (黄山屯溪国际机场). Class of Ticket

Usually, there are three kinds of tickets are provided on high speed trains, Business Class Seat, First Class Seat and Second Class Seat. Second Class Seat is the most budget level you will share a row space with other passengers. And the First Class of Seat is more comfortable and quiet for those who prefer a good rest on the way. Book, Collect, Alter and Cancel

Foreign tourists can book train ticket online or ask help from ticket agency, or buy the tickets physically at the train station with your valid passport. One thing you should remember is to book the ticket as early as possible, especially in peak tourist seasons. After collecting the tickets, please read carefully about the train number, departure date and station to make sure you won’t miss the train.
