Hohhot Railway Station

Location: No. 41, Chezhandong Road, Xincheng District, Hohhot, Inner Mongolia (内蒙古自治区呼和浩特市新城区车站东街41号 – 呼和浩特站)

Hohhot Railway Station, which used to be called Guisui Railway Station, is the oldest railway station of Hohhot. It is located in the downtown area and connected with many attractions well. From there, you can get to Qingcheng Park within 23 minutes by bus, to Inner Mongolia Museum within 32 min’s driving, to Islamic Architecture Features Landscape Street within 15 min’s driving, to Baita Airport within 1 hour by shuttle bus line 1, etc. There is no metro available in Hohhot, but with 5 under construction metro lines. Among the 5 under construction metro lines in Hohhot, line 2 that will cover Hohhot Railway Station is planned to be put into operation in 2020.

Hohhot East Railway Station

Location: Nandian Village, Wantong Road, Ruyi Development Zone, Hohhot, Inner Mongolia (内蒙古自治区呼和浩特市如意开发区万通路南店村 – 呼和浩特东站)

Hohhot East Railway Station is the largest railway station of Inner Mongolia, with a total construction area measures nearly 100,000 square meters. It is also the newest built railway station of Hohhot. The distance between there and the Hohhot Railway Station (the one settled in the city center of Hohhot) is about 8.7km. From the city center, you can take bus no.19 and no.83 to Hohhot East Railway Station. And Among the 5 under construction metro lines in Hohhot, line 1 that will cover Hohhot East Railway Station is planned to be put into operation in 2020.

Ordos Railway Station

Location: Binhedong Road, Yijinhuoluo, Ordos, Inner Mongolia (内蒙古自治区鄂尔多斯市伊金霍洛旗滨河东路附近 – 鄂尔多斯站)

Ordos Railway Station is the mainly used High Speed Railway Station of Ordos, also the most convenient one. It is located about 15 min’s driving to the spectacular Music fountain square, 20 min’s driving to the Ordos Museum and 30 min’s driving to the Mausoleum of Genghis Khan. Airport Shuttle Bus line 3 connects Ordos Railway Station and Ordos international airport. Ordos Railway Station is not the departure station of the shuttle bus line, but a middle stop along the way. By taking the bus from the railway station, you can travel to the airport within 1.6 hours.

Dongsheng East Railway Station

Location: Dongsheng District, Ordos, Inner Mongolia (内蒙古自治区鄂尔多斯市东胜区 – 东胜东站)

Donsheng District used to be the original city center of Ordos. Dongsheng East Railway Station is about 48 km away from Ordos Railway Station. There are public buses traveling between the two destinations, which take about 4.5 hours. It is not the main station of ordos, and a little bit far from the city center.
