Most Guangzhou Guilin high speed trains depart from there. It is a little far from the city center, at Shibi Street, Panyu District, Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province (广东省广州市番禺区石壁街道 广州南站). Convenient local metro line network can take you to most attractions and train stations/airplane. Guilin West Railway Station (桂林西站)
Guilin West Railway Station is the major train station serving the Guangzhou Guilin high speed trains. It is located a little far from the city center, near Zhuangshang Village, Dingjiang Town, Lingchuan County, Guilin (桂林市灵川县定江镇庄上村附近 桂林西站). from this station, you can go by the local taxi, which is the best and convenient transportation method for foreign visitors who are not familiar with local transfers. From there, it needs about 0.5 hours to the downtown area where provides many accommodations and restaurants, about 40 minutes to Elephant Trunk Hill, about 50 minutes to the Li River, about 1.5 hours to Longsheng Rice Terraces, etc.
Guilin North Railway Station (桂林北站)
Some Guangzhou Guilin bullet trains use Guilin North Railway Station for departure and arrival. This station is situated at No.6 Zhanqian Road, Diecai District, Guilin City (桂林市叠彩区站前路6号 桂林北站). With a distance of about 6.5 kilometers to the downtown, it is closer than the Guilin West Station. From there, you could transfer by car to Elephant Trunk Hill for about 40 minutes, to Li River for about 45 minutes, and to Longsheng Rice Terraces for about 1.5 hours.
