There are several railway stations along the route, including Dazu South (大足南), Ziyang North (资阳北), Longchang North(隆昌北), Neijiang North(内江北), Jianyang South (简阳南), etc. Among the 70 High Speed Trains travel from Chengdu to Chongqing every day, about 27 of them arrive at Chongqing as the last station, while others reach to Shanghai, Wuhan, Hangzhou, Guiyang, Nanjing, Guangzhou, Nanning, Nanchang, etc.

Chongqing West Railway Station

Location: No.168, Fengzhong Road, Shapingba District, Chongqing (重庆市沙坪坝区凤中路168号-重庆西站)

Chongqing West Railway station is the newest train station of Chongqing, also the most luxurious. It is located about 14.3km far from Ciqikou Ancient Town and 23.6km far from Chaotianmen Port. Aside from the Special Buses Lines, there are also high speed trains that travel from Chongqing West railway station to Chongqing North Railway Station every day. Chongqing North Railway Station

Location: No.51, Kunlun Road, Yubei District, Chongqing (重庆市渝北区昆仑大道51号-重庆北站)

Chongqing North Railway Station is the most integrated and frequently used railway station in Chongqing. It is widely known for its complex south square and north square. Unlike other railway stations like Chengdu East Railway Station, the squares of Chongqing North Railway Station are separate. For High Speed Trains, they can only be found at the North Square, while other normal trains named after K, Z, T can be found both in South Square and North Square. The light rail stations for the Chongqing North railway station are separate too. If you are going to take High Speed trains at the north square, you should take light rail line 10. But if you are going to the south square, you should take light rail line 3 and stop at the station named “重庆北站(chongqingbeizhan)” instesd of “龙头寺站(longtoushizhan)”. Chongqing Shapingba Railway Station

Location: No.200, Beizhandong Road, Shapingba District, Chongqing (重庆市沙坪坝区北站东路200号-重庆沙坪坝火车站)

The renewed Chongqing Shapingba Railway Station was put into operation also in January of 2018. From there, you could transfer by light rail line 1 to Ciqikou Ancient Town for about 30 minutes, to Hongya Cave for about 50 minutes. Chengdu East Railway Station

Location: No.4, Qingyijiang Road, Chenghua District, Chengdu, Sichuan (四川省成都市成华区青衣江路4号-成都东站)

Chengdu East Railway Station is the main High Speed Train station in Sichuan, especially for traveling between Chengdu and Chongqing. There are 68 High Speed Trains travel to Chongqing from Chengdu East Railway Station every day. The departure time of the trains varies from 6:43 to 21:42. Chengdu Railway Station

Location: No.1 Zhandong Road, Jinniu District, Northern Chengdu (成都市金牛区站东路1号-成都站)

Chengdu Railway Station, which also known as “火车北站(Huochebeizhan)”, is the oldest train station of Chengdu. Due to its improvement program, only two high speed trains travel between Chengdu and Chongqing through this station now. Though Chengdu Railway Station is not as magnificent as Chengdu East Railway Station, it is also an important train station in Chengdu. Both metro line 1 and line 7 are available to get there.
