Chengdu Kunming High Speed Rail starts from Chengdu East Railway Station to Kunming South Railway Station, measured for about 1,112 kilometers to pass 13 middle stops in Zizhong, Yongchuan, Chongqing, Tongzi, Zunyi, Guiyang, etc. on the half way. Chengdu East Railway Station

Location: No.4, Qingyijiang Road, Chenghua District, Chengdu, Sichuan (四川省成都市成华区青衣江路4号-成都东站)

Chengdu East Railway Station is located about 9.2 km away from the downtown area. Both metro line 2 and line 7 are available there. By taking metro line 2, you can get to Kuan and Zhai Alley within about 37 minutes. By taking the metro line 7, you can get to Jinsha Museum within 46 minutes. Kunming South Railway Station

Location: Xiangyuan Road, Chenggong District, Kunming, Yunnan (云南省昆明市呈贡区祥园街-昆明南站)

Kunming South Railway Station is the newly-built High Speed Railway Station of Kunming. It is located about 7 km to the Dian Lake and 28 km to the Kunming Railway Station. Convenient local metro lines, bus lines and taxi are available there to the downtown area and other nearby places. Currently High Speed Trains are not available for Dali, Lijiang and Shangri-La, thus travelers who treat Kunming only as a transfer spot have to take the normal K-trains at Kunming Railway Station to get to those famous tourist places near Kunming. After have arrived at Kunming South Railway Station, you can take the local metro lines, bus lines and High Speed Trains to Kunming Railway Station. It takes about 1 hour by metro, 2 hours by bus and 22 minutes by High Speed Trains from Kunming South Railway Station to Kunming Railway Station.
