Address: No.168, Fengzhong Road, Xinqiao Street, Shapingba District, Southwest Chongqing City (重庆市沙坪坝区新桥街道凤中路168号-重庆西站); about 1 hour (20 km) to downtown, about 17km to northeast Chongqing North Railway Station & 40km of southwest Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport.

Transportation: Currently, there are taxies, local buses, airport expresses, coaches and online car-hailing services provided to/off Chongqing West Railway Station. Take a taxi to Ciqikou Ancient Town needs around 30 minutes, to Chongqing China Three Gorges Museum needs about 45 minutes. And 12 local buses can take you to Chongqing North Railway Station, city center and other regions. Airport express K06 will bring you directly to Chongqing Jiangbei Airport. At present, NO metro line can transit to Chongqing West Railway Station directly, except the future Metro Line 5, Metro Line 12 and the Inner Rail Ring. Now passengers taking Metro Line 1 & Line 2 have to transfer to a local bus or taxi to Chongqing West Station.

Zunyi (遵义)

Zunyi, located in north Guiyang, is one of most important cities and tourist destinations in Guizhou Province. The city lies between Chongqing and Guiyang, is famous for two UNESCO World Heritage properties - Hailongtun Fortress and Chishui Danxia Landform and luxury national liquor - Maotai, which once served many foreign leaders, including Richard Nixon and Barack Obama. For Chinese history fans, Zunyi is also a good witness to know more historical events during the Long March. Transportation: The new Zunyi Railway Station (once was called Zunyi East Railway Station by locals) is a high speed train station serving Zunyi. It is the biggest station on Chongqing Guiyang Railway. Located about 5km (10 minutes’ driving) from downtown, the station is currently connected with other area via 5 different bus routes. Besides, it’s very convenient to get to the station or transfer to attractions by taxi. You will spend about 1.5 hours' driving to Hailongtun Fortress (Tusi), and 4 hours to Chishui Danxi.

Guiyang is the capital city of Guizhou Province, which enjoys a good reputation of “Forest City” in southwest China. Transportation: Guiyang North Railway Station is one of the largest high speed train station in north Guiyang, southwestern China. It serves as the terminus of the Guiyang Guangzhou High Speed Railway, Shanghai Kunming High Speed Railway, Guiyang Kaiyang Intercity Railway and Chongqing Guiyang Railway. Visitor can get to/leave the station by local bus, taxi and urban rail transit line (Guiyang Metro Rail Line 1). And it takes about 30 minutes to Jiaxiu Tower, 30 minutes to Qianling Park and 40 minutes to Huaxi Scenic Resort by taxi. Or you can take Fast Bus 272 from the station to Jiaxiu Tower and Bus 270 to Guiyang East Railway Station with 3 stops. passengers can take Fast Bus 1, 2, 3 and 1.5 BRT Ring bus to Guiyang North Railway Station, and take 40 minutes' high speed trains trip from Guiyang to Kaili.

Address: Near County Highway 138, Dairy Farm Area, Wudang District, Northeast Guiyang City, Guizhou Province (贵州省贵阳市乌当区奶牛场片区, 近138县道 - 贵阳东站), about 35 minutes’ driving to downtown & 20 minutes to 15km away Guiyang North Railway Station.

Transportation: Guiyang East Railway Station, located in suburb of northeast Guiyang, is the departure station of Guiyang Guangzhou High Speed Railway and Chongqing Guiyang Railway and other connected rail lines. The most convenient way to get to/leave the station is taking a taxi, or you can take one local bus (Bus Line 106, 271, 270 …) to transfer to your hotel and attractions. For taking a taxi, you will reach Jiaxiu Tower in downtown within 1 hour, to Qianling Park within half an hour, and about 1 hour to Huaxi Scenic Resort. There will be a future Metro Line 3 connecting the station with city center. So far, Guiyang North Railway Station is more recommended to take high speed trains for its better location, convenient transportation.

Tips for Booking and Taking Chongqing Guiyang High Speed Train

1. Seats choosing & price comparing

There are three different kinds seats offered on both G trains and D trains from Chongqing to Guiyang and Guiyang to Chongqing. Passengers could choose from Business Seat (the most luxury standard equal to first class seat on plane - about 380 RMB), First Class Seat (middle class - about 200 RMB) and Second Class Seat (the most budget choice - about 130 RMB).

2. Booking & collect your bullet train ticket

To book a Chongqing Guiyang high speed train ticket, you could choose to book it at the official website: China Railway Customer Service Center or with a travel agency, also you could directly tell China Discovery to book the tickets for you. Besides, you could go to the Railway Station or Designated Ticket Offices to do that.

To collect your high speed train ticket, you could go to the railway station nearby, however, the Self-service Ticketing Machines are not serving foreign people. Besides, you can tell China Discovery to help you to do the collection, which only needs your passport information.

3. How to embark the high speed train and bullet train?

1) Prepare your documents well (valid passport with China Visa); 2) Get to the right train station in advance; 3) Collect train tickets; 4) Read your train ticket; 5) Pass the security control; 6) Pass through Security & Luggage Checks; 7) Find the right waiting room; 8) Cross the ticket checking gate; 9) Get to the right platform; 10) Get on your train. Keep the ticket well, because the ticket will be checked again to leave the station after you get off.
