• Location: No.1 Tiancheng Road, Jianggan District, Hangzhou (杭州市江干区天城路1号), about 9 kilometers & 0.5 hour to Hangzhou downtown and about 12 kilometers & 0.5 h to the West Lake by car

Hangzhou East Railway Station is the busiest train station in Hangzhou. It runs over 600 trains a day, and most of the trains are bullet trains (high speed trains). It conveniently connects Hangzhou with cities like Beijing (4.5 hours), Shanghai (1~2 hours), Suzhou (1.5 ~4 hours), Huangshan (1.5~2 hours), Ningbo (1 hour), Nanjing (1~3.5 hours), etc.

• Location: No.1 Huancheng East Road, Shangcheng District, Hangzhou (浙江省杭州市上城区环城东路1号), about 4 kilometers & 15 minutes to Hangzhou downtown and about 5.6 kilometers & 0.5 hour to the West Lake by car

Hangzhou Railway Station is the closest train station to Hangzhou downtown, with a short driving distance for 4 kilometers around in between them, which needs only 15 minutes around by car. This train station also operates almost 600 trains every day, including 509 high speed trains. It connects Hangzhou with Shanghai (1~2 hours), Suzhou (2.5 hours), Nanjing (1.5~4.5 hours), etc.

• Location: No.1, Zhanqian Road, Xiaoshan District, Hangzhou City, Zhejiang Province, China (浙江省杭州市萧山区站前路1号), about 17 kilometers & 40 minutes to Hangzhou downtown and about 23 kilometers & 1 hour to the West Lake by car

Hangzhou South Railway Station is about 17 kilometers from Hangzhou downtown and 23 kilometers from Hangzhou West Lake (northwest gate). Compared with Hangzhou Railway Station and Hangzhou East Railway Station, it is relatively further to Hangzhou downtown. However, it is a little bit closer to Hangzhou Xiaoshan International Airport, which takes half an hour or so by car. The station has trains to/from Shanghai (1.5~2 hours), Suzhou (2.5 hours), Huangshan (1.5 hours), etc.

• Location: Yingbin Road, Yuhang District, Hangzhou City, Zhejiang Province, China (杭州市余杭区迎宾路), about 25 kilometers & 40 minutes to Hangzhou downtown and about 27 kilometers & 1 hour to the West Lake by car

Yuhang Station is located in Yuhang District of Hangzhou City. Compared with all the above train stationed, Yuhang Railway Station is the furthest one from Hangzhou Downtown and Hangzhou West Lake. However, it is also a busy station with frequent high speed trains running there. Here, you can catch a train to/from Shanghai (1~1.5 hours), Suzhou (1.5 hours), Huangshan (2 hours), Xiamen (7 hours), etc.

Qiaodaohu Railway Station is located in the Chunan County of Hangzhou, which is on the middle way between Huangshan and Hangzhou and is 150 kilometers & 2.5~3 hours away from Hangzhou downtown by car. Visitors who are heading to visit the beautiful Qiandao Lake can take a high speed train to this station first and then ride a car or bus to the lake area. Qiandaohu Railway Station is about half an hour to Qiandao Lake by car. It runs trains to Hangzhou (1 hour or so), Shanghai (2~3 hours), Huangshan (0.5~1 hour), Beijing (6 hours), Jingdezhen (2 hours), Nanjing (2.5~4 hours), Xiamen (5 hours), etc.
