"This is Shirley from China Discovery. With a great passion for travel, I joined this professional team in 2024.

Throughout my school life, I have always been interested in foreign literature and social cultures, from the British royal family to Chinese Americans, from Shakespeare's sonnets to idolatry in popular culture, and so on. In the process of study and research, I learned many exotic customs and stories and wanted to measure my steps one by one. From all over the world, do you have a similar curiosity and yearning for China?

Having lived in Sichuan, I've personally experienced the laid-back lifestyle of Chengdu, the breathtaking scenery of Jiuzhaigou, the serene Buddhist temples on Mount Emei, the majestic Giant Buddha at Leshan, and the Taoist atmosphere of Mount Qinghai. As an amateur photographer, I also love capturing nature and cityscapes. I've visited places like Chongqing, Lijiang, and Dali for sightseeing and photography. While these experiences have been unforgettable, China's allure extends far beyond. I'm always planning my next adventure to discover more of my fascinating country.

Overall, the trip was enjoyable. Both the guide and driver were professional, helpful and friendly. The scenery was amazing.

Kim and I will take this opportunity to let you know that we’ve had a wonderful time and same for my daughter and granddaughter. All the guides and drivers were very helpful and informative and the accommodation has been ideal, very central. Our favourite hotel was in Mt Emei. We were mostly lucky with the weather, although a little hot at times. In Jiuzhaigou, we had warm weather all day and it rained just as we came down. All in all, a very enjoyable time for all of us.
