We have just arrived home and are very happy with our choice to visit China. It is a truly fascinating destination — completely different from the European countries we are used to, yet offering services (metro, buses, online payments, booking systems, etc.) that are of high quality and very easy to use — a perfect and rare combination. Local people were extremely friendly, which added up to the pleasure of the exploration. We were also very lucky with the weather, this also made it easy to go around and keep visiting more places ... so we would highly recommend this season, although we are aware that the rice fields will be more beautiful later on: considering that we have explored areas that are so far the one from the other I would highly recommend this period of the year.

We are extremely happy with your service and will gladly recommend you to any of our friends who are interested in visiting China. (By the way, we originally found you online, but you had also been recommended to us by a friend who had previously organized their trip through you.)

I particularly appreciated how quickly you were able to secure our Forbidden City tickets (a last-minute decision on our part), and also the way you immediately understood what we were interested in — and what was not relevant to us — from the very beginning.

The guides were very different from each other but both extremely helpful, not only in helping us get around but also in giving us insight into China's values and mindset (or at least offering us a glimpse). They were both very reliable, punctual, and willing to go the extra mile.

The hotel were really beautiful, especially the one on the rice fields. so charming. Maybe in Xi'an it would have been better a location closer to the city centre, although I am sure it wouldn't have been so quiet: although it was just 25 minutes walking from the city centre we preferred the taxi to move around, we felt we did not have enough time to enjoy everything.

Please let me know if this is enough or if you want me to underline anything in particular. Please say thank you to Peter and Angela, they were remarkable. We were very lucky to also meet Mary, the manager of Xi'an office, we really appreciated the possibility to speak with this business woman that gave us an interesting look into the vibrant economy of Xi'an and China.

Secondly, I am planning a trip in July, and was wondering if China Discovery does tours for Jiangxi. I can see tours around China, but none for Jiangxi and would like to see if your company actually offers them?

Sorry for the late reply.

We just left Fenghuang and arrived at Guangzhou today.

The trip met our expectation and both Alice and David were great. The sceneries are amazing. The drivers and the vans are decent. The only unexpected aspect is the weather, we were surprised by how cold and wet it was.

I am happy to say that everything on our tour was wonderful! All the places we visited were so fascinating and we learned a lot.

• The guides and drivers were excellent, taking care of all the details and helping us wherever needed. Waldner in Xi’an was especially great - he was so knowledgeable and had perfect English. Both he and the driver were very helpful in taking us to another site when we realized that our flight to Shanghai was at a later time than listed on the itinerary. All the restaurants the guides brought us to were very good.

• The hotels were also very good especially the breakfasts. The only comment is that the Yangtze in Shanghai was a bit dated with some stains on the carpet and also a torn chair.

• The cars/vans were very nice and comfortable. A welcome touch in Xi’an was that the, in addition to bottled water like the other cars, Mr Wang also provided a basket of snacks and fruit.

• I am most appreciative of all your support and services in planning the trip. You were always very quick to respond to my emails and questions. The one suggestion I have is to provide the train and flight details (train/flight number, etc) to the travelers as well as the guides so we know what to expect.

I will certainly recommend China Discovery tours to anyone I know who may be visiting China.

This tour was amazing, we all had a blast the accommodation was suitable for us and we were able to rest well in comfort. The tour guide was great, she was very informative about the times relating the itinerary and was very flexible. Her translation for us was very helpful, it was great to be able to communicate with other through her. We loved seeing everything around the beautiful town of harbin. The driver was great he was on time, very punctual and i felt safe in the car and very efficient, and he helped us with our luggage.

Overall it was a great trip and very worth the price.
