Golden Summit is the symbol of Mt. Emei and the most inspiring site to view the sea cloud and sun rise. Here you can see the biggest splendid golden Samantabhadra statue riding with elephant. If you are luck you may view the light of Buddha. Note: make sure to wear enough clothes as the wind in the summit is quite strong and chilly.

No.2: Baoguo Temple

Baoguo Temple is the first temple in Mt. Emei built in Ming dynasty. Surrounded by red walls and dense trees, this temple has quite ancient-style structure and deep Chinese Buddhist culture. Walking inside, there are eight Buddha Halls with various Buddha in different expressions.

No.3: Wannian Temple

Standing in the middle mountain, Wannian Temple is the starting point to climb Mt. Emei for most tourists. Also you can take cableway instead. Unlikely to other temples here, Wannian Temple is famous for the three treasures: elephant tooth fossil, scriptures, seal given by emperor of Ming dynasty, which can’t be miss out when visit here.

No.4: Qingyin Pavilion

Qingyin Pavilion, also called Woyun Temple is only a hall with little space situated on the way to summit. Though it’s small, the view here is unparalleled. With peaceful water flowing by and two bridges along two sides, this pavilion makes a great fusion between the nature and peace of Buddhism.

spring and autumn are the best seasons to go and view the flowers blooming and sea of cloud in the summit.
