Shangri-La Paradise Hotel, a 5-star hotel, is on a main thoroughfare in Shangri-La old town, surrounded by shops and stores. It is about 10 minutes’ drive to Diqing Airport and 20 minutes’ to the Buddhist monastery.
Paradise Hotel gives a special nice feeling in its public areas, which most of them are covered with a high transparent ceiling. The courtyard with a lovely pool is all enclosed with beautiful trees and plants and parakeets in cages hanging from the trees. It is like an indoor garden.
