Day 1 Qingdao Arrival

Welcome to Qingdao, a famous seaside city with marvelous coastlines and great Tsingtao Beer. Our guide will meet you at the airport, train station or hotel and escort you to Qingdao Beer Museum, where you can watch the exhibition of the complete process of making the beer and taste the freshly brewed beer. Since Qingdao is famous for the Tsingtao Brewery, you will have a better understanding about the beer and the city after today's visit. Before leaving, you will take a fresh sip of 2 glasses of Qingdao beer in the museum.

Then you will first visit Badaguan Scenic Resort (also called Eight Passes Scenic Resort) which is named after 8 important military fortresses in China's history. In fact, it is not a resort and there are no passes here. It is a pretty neighborhood with about 200 old buildings in over 20 different countries’ styles, including German, Russian, French, American, Danish, Greek, Spanish, Swiss, Japanese... Take a nice stroll in the scenic streets and get some great shots. The landscape of Badaguan becomes most marvelous in spring when lots of flowers are in full blossom and in autumn when the leaves present a stunning mixed hue of yellow, orange, red, etc. To fully appreciate the buildings, you can walk into the Princess House, Butterfly House, Spanish Villa and Huashi House (optional).

Arrival Ideas: 1) it is available to take a high speed train from Beijing (4.5h), Jinan (2-2.5h), Tianjin (4~4.5), etc., and a flight from Beijing (1.5h), Shanghai (1.5h), Xian (2h), Luoyang (1.5h), Guangzhou (3.5h), etc. 2) we suggest you take a morning flight or high speed train and arrive in Qingdao before 10 a.m. for a better sightseeing experience in Qingdao.

Day 2 Qingdao (B, L)

After breakfast in your hotel, you will be escorted to Golden Beach, one main venue for Qingdao International Beer Festival. A lot of international beer tents will be set up in the beach, respectively theming on many famous domestic and international brands, such as Belgian Druid Beer, Germany Wolstein Beer, Canada Rosell Beer, Denmark Carlsberg Beer, etc. In the tents, you can not only taste the beer from different countries, but also enjoy the local snack and exotic performance. In addition to beer and food, there also many entertaining activities for fun, including some kids-friendly activities like children drama, children puppet show, children circus, etc.

Then you will drive to the Laoshan Century Plaza, the other venue for this big day. In the Beer City of Laoshan Century Plaza, beer, food, performance can be savored as well. Equipped with delicately-decorated Beer gardens, interesting beer bars and many drinking units, Laoshan Century Plaza offers a real luxurious experience of beer feast. Besides, there are various exhibitions and competitions, such as Beer Brands Exhibition, Art Exhibition, Dinosaur Exhibition, Photography Competition, Seafood Cooling Completion, etc. When the night falls, you will also be treated with magnificent light shows and firework shows.

After the indulgences of Qingdao International Beer Festival, you will drive to your hotel near Laoshan Mountain for accommodation.

Day 3 Qingdao Departure (B)

After the breakfast, visit Laoshan Mountain, which is known as the Most Famous Mountain on the Sea. This trip focus on Taiqing Scenic Area - the highlight of Laoshan Mountain today. As you arrive, a big statue of Laozi - the founder of Taoism will come into your eyes. Your sightseeing journey starts with a nice hike from Bashui River to Longtan Waterfall. Bashui River is named after the eight streams converging into the river and Longtan Waterfall is one of the streams. During your hike, you can get an enjoyable view of the waterfalls, peaks, rocks, various plants as well as the Yellow Sea from different perspectives. Then, you will continue your hike to Shangqing Palace and Mingxia Cave which are two featured Taoist Temples. In Mingxia Cave, you will get a breathtaking view of the mountain and sea from above. After the amazing sightseeing trip, you will take a cable car down to Taiqing Palace, the largest Taoist temple and the Taoism communication center in Qingdao. There are many Taoist buildings and statues in this temple delivering a cultural savory of Taoism.

After that, you will be transferred to Qingdao airport or train station to catch your flight/train to next destination. Tour ends!

1. This price is for one person, based on a group of 2 adults sharing one standard double-bed room in a 4-star hotel and traveling with our private tour in low seasons.
2. This price is subject to change according to your traveling season, group size, hotel class, change of activities in your itinerary and possible fluctuation of currency exchange rate. If you want a lower price, you can get more people to join you, or use economy class hotels.
3. This price is only valid to March 31, 2025.
4. Reference exchange rate of USD 1=RMB 7.00. The final quote is based on current exchange rate. It may change according to the currency fluctuation, while the RMB quotation will be remained the same.

1A: Wing Zeng always responds to our emails very promptly. At the beginning when I planned to book the cruise, Wing Zeng has been very patient to respond to all my questions about the cruise itinerary and the cabin types. I am very happy with her service.

2A: With Wing Zeng's help, our tour arrangements were very smooth. Our family travel with one senior and one small child, so we were very careful about transportation to and from the port. On the day of embarkation, Wing Zeng helped us book a van transfer directly from our hotel in Jingzhou to the port, which made the embarkation process very smooth and enjoyable.

3A: Definitely. I highly recommend your service to anyone who wants to take the Yangtze cruises.

4A: I'm very satisfied with your service. Our travel consultant is very helpful and professional.

5A: It would be nice if you could give a little warning that the water level in Chongqing might be too low around this time of year. Originally, our cruise was scheduled to end at Chongqing Chaotianmen port. But because of the low water level, we had to disembark somewhere else and took a 2-hour drive to Chaotianmen. The cruise arranges the transfer smoothly and it worked out fine in the end. But if this is something that happens usually around this time of year, it would be nice to be given a little warning beforehand.
