Day 1 Dalian Arrival & Xinghai Square

Welcome to Dalian! Upon arrival, you will be met by your guide and driver at the arriving hall of Dalian Zhoushuizi International Airport or the Dalian railway stations. Thereafter, be escorted to your hotel by our comfortable private car (non-smoking). Your guide will help you check in.

After a short relax, let's visit Xinghai Square. Xinghai Square, 2.5 times as big as famous Beijing Tianmen Square, is the largest square in Asia. Upon arrival, let's pay a visit to the interesting Dalian Shell Museum near the southeast side of the square first, which is said to have the largest number of shell exhibits in the world. The shells displayed in the museum are not only from China but also from Malaysia, New Zealand, Argentina, Spain, Morocco and other over 30 countries. You will be impressed a lot by those adorable shells of different kinds, colors and shapes. Later, enjoy stunning sunset here. Romantic rays of the sunshine shinning on a long bridge across the broad sea with seagulls flying in the air, forming an extremely harmonious scene. If lucky, you will also be welcomed by a wonderful Music Fountain Show performed in the center of the square.

Optional activity: Next to the museum and square, there is also an amusement park. If time allows and you like, you can try whirligig, roller coaster, big pirate ship, etc. there (extra fee needed).

After the square tour, be driven back to your hotel for accommodation. Have a good night!

Arrival Ideas: Dalian can be easily reached by both flight and high speed train. It has international flights to/from Tokyo, Seoul, Osaka, Hong Kong, Singapore, etc. and frequent domestic flights to/from Beijing (1.5~2 hours), Shanghai (2 hours), Guangzhou (4 hours), Harbin (4 hours), Jinan (1.5 hours), etc. High Speed Trains connect it with Shenyang (1.5~4.5 hours), Harbin (3.5~5 hours), Beijing (4~5 hours), Changchun (2.5~4 hours), etc.

Day 2 Binhai Road, Tiger Beach Ocean Park & Dalian Departure (B, L)

Good morning! Today after breakfast, you will start today's discovery with a coastal sightseeing tour along Binhai Road. First, enjoy a road trip from your hotel to Fujiazhuang Park on Binhai Road. While driving, you will be hugged by modern city on your left and broad sea on your right. Upon arriving at the park, enjoy a 4-kilometer-long coastal hiking along the wooden trails. The Binhai Road wooden trail is the longest in the world, which once broke the Guinness Records. And you will hike its most beautiful section. After the hiking, continue the driving to Tiger Beach Ocean Park.

Tiger Beach Ocean Park (Laohutan) covers a large area of over one million square meters and occupies a winding coastline of more than 4,000 meters. It is extremely a surprise for family with kids and those who are into the lovely and mysterious marine animals. First, start your marine exploration from Coral Hall (Reef Aquarium), which is the largest one of its kind in China. Here, meet with diverse kinds of corals and jellyfishes in red, blue, yellow, purple and more colors. The lovely fishes swimming in between the corals are also fantastic. Then, visit the big highlight - Pole Aquarium. You'll find beluga whale, dolphin, polar bear, walrus, penguin and so forth and enjoy dolphin performances and acrobatic shows here. Later, be taken on a spectacular underwater safari on underwater tunnels and everywhere you look you'll find amazing tropical fish and awesome sharks swimming over your head or by your two sides! You're in their world now! Followed the visit of Pole Aquarium are shows performed by funny clowns and sea lions at Animal Show Arena. Continue the visit to Marine Mammal World. Enter the dramatic ship-like building to say hi to seals and sea lions. The last stop is Bird Forest, where there are red ibis, flamingo, grey crested crane, hornbill, black swan and other rare birds. Watch an interesting Parrot Show here.

Please note: The outdoor performances in Animal Show Arena and Bird Forest may be canceled when there are severe weather like heavy rain and wind.

After the ocean park tour, be driven to the airport/train station to catch your flight / train to your next destination or home. Service ends!

1A: Wing Zeng always responds to our emails very promptly. At the beginning when I planned to book the cruise, Wing Zeng has been very patient to respond to all my questions about the cruise itinerary and the cabin types. I am very happy with her service.

2A: With Wing Zeng's help, our tour arrangements were very smooth. Our family travel with one senior and one small child, so we were very careful about transportation to and from the port. On the day of embarkation, Wing Zeng helped us book a van transfer directly from our hotel in Jingzhou to the port, which made the embarkation process very smooth and enjoyable.

3A: Definitely. I highly recommend your service to anyone who wants to take the Yangtze cruises.

4A: I'm very satisfied with your service. Our travel consultant is very helpful and professional.

5A: It would be nice if you could give a little warning that the water level in Chongqing might be too low around this time of year. Originally, our cruise was scheduled to end at Chongqing Chaotianmen port. But because of the low water level, we had to disembark somewhere else and took a 2-hour drive to Chaotianmen. The cruise arranges the transfer smoothly and it worked out fine in the end. But if this is something that happens usually around this time of year, it would be nice to be given a little warning beforehand.
