Which Stations Used in Beijing?

Recently, there are two train stations used in Beijing, the Beijing Railway Station and the newest Beijing Chaoyang Railway Station.

Beijing Chaoyang Railway Station

Address: The intersection of Yaojiayuan North Road and Chaoyang Station East Road, Chaoyang District, Beijing (北京市朝阳区姚家园北路与朝阳站东路交叉口).

Transportation: about 0.5 hour’s driving to Beijing Capital International Airport, 30 mins’ driving to the Palace Museum and 40 mins' driving to Summer Palace. Chaoyang Railway Station is the newest railway station in Beijing, put into use on January 22, 2021. This station mainly provides passenger transport service for Beijing Harbin High Speed Railway, Beijing Chengde High Speed Railway and Northeast Ring Line of Beijing Suburban Railway. You can take public bus or taxi to get the station.

Beijing Railway Station

Address: No.13 Jiawan Hutong, Dongcheng District, Beijing (北京市东城区家湾胡同甲13号 - 北京站).

Transportation: Just at the southeast corner of Beijing 2nd Ring Road, this station is very close to the city downtown and needs only about 20 minutes by car. Metro Line 2 is available there to many tourist places. Usually, it needs about 25 minutes to Tiananmen Square and Forbidden City by metro.

Which Stations Used in Harbin?

Harbin also arranges two train stations for Beijing Harbin trains. D trains stop in Harbin Railway Station and Harbin West Railway Station, and the G trains only use Harbin West Railway Station.

Harbin West Railway Station

Address: No.501, Harbin Street, Nangang District, Harbin (哈尔滨大街501号 - 哈尔滨西站).

Transportation: this station is about 25 minutes’ driving distance to downtown area. Besides, Metro Line 3 is available there. And usually, to the city center and main attractions like Zhongyang Street, St. Sophia Church, it needs to transfer to Metro Line 1 and local buses.

Harbin West Station

Address: No.1, Tielu Street, Nangang District, Harbin (哈尔滨市南岗区铁路街1号- 哈尔滨站).

Transportation: about 8 km from Harbin West Railway Station. You can take a taxi to city center and St. Sophia Church for only about 10 minutes.

On Beijing Harbin high speed D trains, two types of seats are offered: the “First Class Seats” of 501.5RMB per person and the economical “Second Class Seats” of 313.5RMB per person.

2. Booking & collect your bullet train ticket

To book a Beijing Harbin high speed train ticket, you could choose to book it at the official website: China Railway Customer Service Center or with a travel agency, also you could directly tell China Discovery to book the tickets for you.
